All of the courses below can be taught here in Pattaya, koh Samui, Koh Tao, Koh Lipe, Phuket or the Similans. Technical diving Pattaya is good due to the depths, wrecks and challenging conditions - it's character building!

Limited Safe Air User Course - (Level 1)

The introduction to Enriched Air Diving. This course will cover 4 of the 8 ANDI identified applications of SafeAir. Certified Divers will be able to use SafeAir 32% and 36% only. Theory will take approximately 4-7 hours with two open water dives using SafeAir. Prerequisites for this course must be OW certified prior to the ANDI LSU certification.

The courses cost is 9,000 baht, you will receive  nitrox tanks, boat trip and certification with your course. Manual is not included in the course price, manual can be purchased for 2,000 baht.

(Please bare in mind that I offer the NITROX course through PADI also which will allow you to use all blends from 22% - 40% Oxygen)

Complete SafeAir User Course - (Level 2)

The Applications of Enriched Air Mixtures. This is a two day program, one day going over the theory and one day on the boat doing two Safe Air dives. The cost of this course is 10,000 baht this price includes the boat trip, nitrox tanks and certification. The manual is not included in the price but can be purchased for 2000 baht.

 Complete SafeAir Instructor course

This is a two-day course going over general standards, theory, ANDI history and basic SafeAir knowledge. 31,000 baht Includes manual, standards and procedures manual, certification and diploma and 1 year registration fee.

 Cross-over Complete SafeAir instructor

Another two day course priced at 16,750 baht includes manual, standards and procedures manual, start up package, certification and diploma and 1 year registration fee with ANDI Headquarters.  

 Diving Gas Blending

Two days 6-8 hours of lecture and theory and one day blending different mixtures of oxygen, helium and nitrogen. 9000 baht Includes the manual, certification and diploma.

  Gas Blending Instructor Course

 Two days 14,500 baht includes certification, diploma and registration fee with ANDI.

Service Technician

Equipment has to be cleaned in order to use SafeAir safely. This is a two-day course that will show you the proper procedures; equipment and fluids used to oxygen clean your equipment. 9000 baht includes manual, certification and diploma.

 Service Technician Instructor Course

14,500 baht includes certification fee, diploma and registration fee with ANDI Headquarters.

 Technical SafeAir Diver  (Level3)

This is the 1^st level of actual technical diving (decompression diving). This is a 50-meter course where you will learn about equipment configuration and stress management. You will learn to dive with double tanks, sling tanks, use reels and lift bags. The decompression will be limited to 30 minutes and a maximum depth of deco of 9 meters. It's a 6 day course 1 with day of classroom, 1 day at the swimming pool. 4 days on the boat, minimum bottom time of 80 minutes and a minimum runtime of 120 minutes. The cost of this course is 23,000 baht. This includes the manual, certification, diploma and all boat costs. Tanks and equipment are not included in this price.

Technical SafeAir Instructor

In order to be a TSD instructor the student must audit 2 full TSD courses with another TSD I.T (Instructor Trainer). The student also must have at least 25 logged technical dives. The cost of this course is 27,000  baht. Tanks, equipment are not included within this price. You will receive an instructor manual and certification fees are included within the price.

 Extended Range Diver

This is still a fifty-meter course; you will be using more equipment and more mixtures of gases. You will be using double tanks with two different mixtures of decompression gasses. Decompression is unlimited. This course has a minimum bottom time of 120 minutes and runtime of 240 minutes. Cost of this course is 23,000 baht including manual, certification and diploma. Tanks and equipment are not included in the price.

 Trimix Diver

The dive depth limit for the tri-mix course is 100 meters. You will learn the importance of using Helium to get rid of oxygen toxicity and get rid of the problems with nitrogen narcosis. The same equipment will be used as in the TSD and ext range course.  Minimum bottom time of 75 minutes and run time of 240 minutes. Cost of the Course is 23,000 baht. Tanks, equipment and Helium not included. Instructors helium costs will be divided up equally between the students.The Extended Range and trimix The Extended Range and trimix divers course can be combined together - the cost of the combined is 33,000 baht (a considerable saving) price includes manual, certification and diploma. Equipment, tanks and Helium are not included.

 Technical Wreck Course

This course is for qualified TSD or above who would like to dive on deep wrecks and learn more about penetration and line usage. The course consists of 5 dives.  The cost of the course is 25,000 baht, you will receive a technical wreck manual, certification and dives. Tanks and equipment are not Included.    

 Drager Rebreather Course

The rebreather course is 3-4 days long. The cost is 22,000 baht including manual, certification and all boat fees. ( ANDI has Drager instructor manuals, student manuals, work books plus OHP slides).

  DPV course (Farallon Scooters)

Farallon scooters will be used  during the course, they have a depth limit of 120 meters. Theses are professional scooters not your everyday recreational scooter. The course is held over 2 days including 4 dives. 12,000  baht

  In the near future P J Scuba will also cover trimix instructor courses to those who qualify. Also ANDI Open Water Instructor courses plus fully closed circuit trimix rebreathers. We now have the CGB in German with the CST translated and I will try to get this as soon as possible. Other languages are available but would have to be ordered.  Please just contact me.

In Sattahip not far from the Hardeep is an excellent hole that is 85 meters deep with coral all the way to the bottom. On some of these technical dives I have seen large turtles and 3 large stingrays in a group - just to add to the experience.
