The dive course consists of 5 modules which are taught in the classroom. 2 pool or shallow water bay sessions are used to complete the confined water skills. Then to complete the really fun part, 4 ocean dives are made here at the islands off of Pattaya.

Included with the course is your PADI Open Water Diver manual, dive tables, log book, certification card and all equipment for the duration of the course. All you need to bring are your swimsuit, towel and sense of adventure.

Our experienced dive instructors will work with you to ensure you learn all the skills required and we guarantee a fun and fantastic time, getting you out of the classroom so you learn by doing.

If you have limited time in Thailand or simply want to get started on your diver course early - you can now start your dive course online. PADI now have the PADI Internet Open Water Diver Course. The internet based dive course allows you as the student diver to learn all of the dive academics prior to your arrival here at the dive center in Pattaya.

PADI eLearning allows the diver to complete the Open Water knowledge development online! You can complete the 5 knowledge development sections of the PADI Open Water course online by signing up through the 'Get Started' link below. Using this option, you will follow the online dive classroom to study, learn and confirm you knowledge so when you arrive in Pattaya, all you need to do is go diving! On arrival at Mermaids Dive Center we go over all of your dive lessons to ensure that you fully understand the information received. Once there - we can now get you diving. This way your holiday time is maximized and you can start your dive course right away!

• Unlimited and unrestricted access to an diver online version of the PADI Open Water Diver Manual.

• At your own pace complete knowledge assessments. Watch the online dive videos at your own time to ensure your best learning environment.

• Payment is $120 US for eLearning via a secure online payment system.
