Try Crazy Dave's for some of the finest English food and comedy on TV in Pattaya. Located on Soi Chaiyapoon, just off of Soi Buakaow, Pattaya, Thailand...it's a gem of a bar beer...with a great difference - It's got Dave!

Dave is truly certifiable hence the name but his taste in comedy shines through making it one of the most welcoming bars for expats and lovers of old and new British comedy alike. 

Open from 9am everyday classic comedy such as Only Fools and Horses (all of them including the Christmas specials), Mike Read live, Bob Monkhouse, Harry Enfield and so on...If you get bored (YOU WILL NOT) with the comedy just ask Dave and he has a great selection of music videos such as Robbie Williams at the Royal Albert Hall, Travis live...in fact if you ask Dave has probably got it some where.

The menu is really quite extensive but BUYERS BEWARE - the portions are huge. The Sheppard's Pie and also the Chilly (which is free on Saturday nights with your first drink) comes highly recommended at prices well below 100 baht per portion (60 baht I believe).

Dave caters for the budget traveler or stayer also with 3 rooms for rent upstairs starting at only 200 baht per night. The 200 baht room is fan and aircon and is a quaint little room with a slighting roof and a TV so close to the end of the bed you can change channels with your toes if you have miss-placed the Remote control.

Other specials that he has apart form the great grub and comedy is a Free "Crazy Dave's" T-Shirt for any bill over 1000 baht. (To tell you the truth you'll find it hard to run up a bill of 1000 baht as the prices are so reasonable. Also on a Sunday Dave holds a raffle. Each time you buy a beer through out the week you get a token and the raffle is for Whiskey and various other prizes. You know, the first week I was there I won 1st and 2nd - it wasn't fixed - HONESTLY!!! Do swing on by and enjoy the atmosphere. Don't be put off by the English flags - all nationalities are welcome and will enjoy the food. I hope to see you there.
